There is a tourist center gathering place opposite the Enshi train station, where you can directly buy bus tickets to the Grand Canyon, with rolling departures, at 25 yuan per person, and it takes about 2 hours to get there. The scenery along the way is also beautiful, no less than the scenery inside the Grand Canyon. Once at the Grand Canyon, you enter the scenic area. Of course, there will be a section to take a bus. Student tickets are 210 (Longmen Grottoes, Seven Star Town, bus, cable car).
It's best to start with Longmen Grottoes, then take the cable car, crossing four peaks, and the journey will be perfect. The waterfall in Longmen Grottoes has double rainbows, which is beautiful to see on a sunny day. The small waterfall, Longmen Grottoes is really deep, a long cable car, the cable car is very stable. If you are afraid of heights, children don't need to be afraid. The second peak, the view from the top of the mountain taken on the cable car. The third peak, one incense stick, called Yufengping, twins peaks (looks like smokers' lungs, haha), and Daughter City, it is recommended to go at night. If you don't shop for souvenirs and have dinner, one or two hours is enough. Enshi Station has direct buses, 31 route, about an hour.
Daughter City has road construction nearby, a bit dusty, windmills. When we went, it was a bit early, we waited a long time before it got dark, the dark sky is beautiful, Enshi's scenery is really overestimated, the Grand Canyon scenery is average, Tiezi Town and Daughter City are also in the category of attractions that you don't want to come a second time. The Grand Canyon scenic area’s recommendations all suggest spending a day, but in reality, most of the time is spent on the road, nine turns and eighteen bends of the highway, it takes two hours to get to the scenic area.
The Grand Canyon is not big, the photo-taking Longmen Grottoes, plus one hour to take photos, other scenery is not as beautiful as the scenery seen on the panoramic mountain road. If driving, you can see the scenic area in half a day, walk and stop to see the roadside scenery. Go to Tiezi Town in the afternoon, it’s purely a scam. The scenery is average, let’s just say it. The scenic area has no road signs, we encountered several lost tourists in the way, Tiezi Town is close to Daughter City by car, Daughter City is just a concentrated small food building complex, and it’s quite small.
How small is it? Originally, I planned to stroll around Daughter City and return to the hotel, after walking around, I encountered colleagues from Wuhan who were traveling. My single colleague, who was always boasting about being single, was traveling with a boyfriend, and we had an awkward greeting and quickly dispersed. If Daughter City were bigger, the possibility of an awkward encounter would be smaller. In short, the most beautiful scenery in Enshi is on the road, the scenic area cannot praise it. After a whole day of scams, we didn't want to go to other attractions, so we changed course to Three Gorges for a turn, and we anticipated that this trip would be a warning trip.
