The Zibo Lilin Park and Botanical Garden improvement project is planned to start construction on April 23rd and complete on September 30th.
Yesterday morning, Mr. Wang from Zhangde discovered that the lake in Zibo People's Park had disappeared, and the mud on the bottom of the lake was exposed, cracked, and dry in large areas. Reporters subsequently learned from the People's Park Management Office that water drawdown was one of the preparatory work for the park's renovation and improvement. All the fish in the lake had been concentratedly caught and kept in the park's swimming pool. The renovation and improvement of Zibo People's Park is planned to be carried out from April 20th to September 30th, with a new look replacing the old one. People's Park will become a comprehensive park with excellent ecology, beautiful landscape, perfect function and distinctive characteristics.
Yesterday, reporters learned that Zibo People's Park has been built since the 1960s, it is the earliest park green space in the central urban area to be built. The last time it was upgraded and improved was in 2002. To better reflect the spirit of 'people-oriented, serving citizens' of the Party and Government, Zibo City Urban Management Bureau organized professional personnel to conduct a large amount of research on the current situation of People's Park, and randomly distributed more than 1000 questionnaires to park visitors, comprehensively and meticulously grasped the basic needs of citizens for park green spaces. Through the survey, the bureau found that citizens had strong opinions on the imperfection of the landscape system in Zibo People's Park, the aging of public service facilities, and the insufficiency of activity space, and urgently needed to upgrade and renovate the park's overall landscape, public service facilities, play and fitness spaces, etc.
It is reported that the renovation and improvement of People's Park this time adhered to the principles of 'ecological restoration, functional optimization and humanistic sentiment'. The overall 'one center, two rings, twelve scenic spots' landscape system was created. While retaining the existing square, main road and vegetation structure, the landscape was upgraded and improved according to the needs of citizens, focusing on the ecological restoration of the lake area, the landscaping arrangement, the improvement of public service facilities, the creation of key landscape nodes and the improvement of infrastructure, including the park's green landscape improvement, fitness ring road renovation, children's activity area renovation, lake shore revetment renovation, leisure square renovation, as well as the addition of new features such as a water stream, toilets, and benches, plus cultural-themed landscape ornaments, standardizing park signs and markers to meet the diverse needs of citizens.

Yesterday, Zibo City Public Resource Trading Center issued the 'Zibo Lilin Park and Botanical Garden Improvement Project Construction Bidding Announcement' (hereinafter referred to as 'the Announcement'). The renovation and improvement of Zibo Lilin Park and Botanical Garden is planned to start on April 23rd and complete on September 30th. The construction period is 161 days. The actual construction start time will depend on the construction start date issued by the bidding party.
'The Announcement' shows that the renovation and improvement of Zibo Lilin Park and Botanical Garden have been approved for construction by the administrative department in charge, the bidding party is Zibo City Urban Management Service Center, and the bidding scope includes the revetment modification of the lake area within the map range, square and road paving, green land sorting, seedling planting, lighting engineering, green land irrigation engineering, various landscape ornaments, corridor renovation, artificial lake modification and exterior wall renovation of office buildings. It seems that after the renovation and improvement of Zibo Lilin Park and Botanical Garden, they will show a more beautiful appearance.
