Amidst the embrace of mountains, a charming ancient town with Jiangnan characteristics emerges.
Yao Li Ancient Town, formerly known as Kiln Yard, named for being the birthplace of Jingdezhen ceramics. Located in Fulong County, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, 50 kilometers from the downtown area of Jingdezhen. It is known as 'Ceramics Source, Tea Town, and Forest Sea'. It is a National Historical and Cultural Town.

Amidst the embrace of mountains, a quaint, ancient town with traditional Jiangnan style appeared – black-tiled roofs, white walls, and horse-head eaves. The town extends on both sides of the Yao River, with buildings arranged in neat rows and offset patterns. The town is centered around the Yao River and divided into two sides by stone bridges and wooden bridges. The river water is clear to the bottom, with fish swimming and drifting freely.

The Yao Li Ancient Town boasts a collection of Ming and Qing Dynasty ancient architectural groups and revolutionary old sites, with a winding and clear Yao River flowing through east and west. Numerous wooden bridges span the Yao River, and hundreds of Ming and Qing Dynasty ancient buildings are distributed along the river in an offset pattern. The scenery is beautiful and the environment is quiet, a typical Jiangnan landscape! The town's commercial atmosphere is not as heavy as Huangcun, and it has not been excessively developed. Staying at the farmhouses and guesthouses in the town can experience the town's tranquility.

The Yao Li Ancient Village is mostly built near the water, and since ancient times, the mountains have been evergreen. Yao Li contains abundant mineral resources, but has never been mined, so the Yao River has never been polluted, always clear to the bottom. The Yao River with its swimming fish forms a beautiful sight.

This ancient and magical place has a deep cultural accumulation and is also a green paradise for people to enjoy the nature. It integrates nature and culture, combining history and local customs, being an excellent place for tourism, visiting ancient sites, exploring, and discovering.

Compared to Huangyuan on the other side, Yao Li is more like a young girl kept in a deep palace, a simple and elegant Jiangnan landscape, clean and ethereal, full of irresistible allure.
