In spring, when flowers bloom, visiting Longhu Mountain offers a great deal of pleasure. The main tree species are Misha, Hwanan, Small-leaved Qinggan oak, Wood lotus, Scrowl tree, Fragrant gum, Peach, Sour, etc., forming distinctive seasonal landscapes.

In addition, you can also see many nationally protected plants in the main forest area, such as Ginkgo, Watersong, Southern Red Chinese Fir, Coneflower, etc. Longhu Mountain's main forest area also has a rich economic plant resource that can be admired and enjoyed. Forestry workers hang small plates on some precious trees, writing the tree names and their Latin names to help visitors to appreciate and identify them.

You can also see a community of Southern Chinese Fir in the main forest area, with 5 trees that are thousands of years old, with a maximum diameter of 1.15 meters and a height of 36 meters, despite having lived for thousands of years, countless Small Chinese Fir show a vibrant population landscape. It is reported that there is also one of the world's five great garden trees, the Money Pine, planted in rows in the center management service center of Longhu Mountain, with its roots deep and lush, with a graceful and upright appearance. Four Water Pines are 20 meters high, with a diameter of 66 cm and a crown diameter of 6 meters, creating a shady green canopy. A thousand-year-old jasmine tree is 21 meters high, with a diameter of 67 cm, and blooms in abundance every autumn, with a fragrant aroma.

Staff members said that the large area of evergreen broadleaf forest in the main forest area creates a rich forest atmosphere, which is rare in Fujian. Longhu Mountain's bamboo resources are also very abundant, with more than 10,000 acres of wild natural bamboo forests distributed in mountain valleys and gullies, green and lush, and a sea of green and endless stretches of green.
