Instructions for Making Fried Potato Slices

  • 1. Two ordinary potatoes.
  • 2. Peel and wash, cut into thick slices.
  • 3. Blanch in boiling water first. (Boiling for too long will make them loose and mushy.)
  • 4. Take them out and drain the water.

  • 5. After the potato slices are completely dry, put them into a hot oil pan, medium heat.
  • 6. Fry until golden brown on the surface (about 8 minutes).
  • 7. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it tastes even better with tomato sauce.

Tips & Tricks

If you fry the potatoes for a longer time, they will naturally turn golden brown. If you fry them for a shorter time, the potatoes will be pale yellow.
