The Fastest Animal on Earth is the Cheetah, Reaching Speeds of Over 100 km/h
The cheetah is the fastest land animal, known as the 'short-distance champion'. Someone once tested that a fully grown cheetah can reach a speed of over 100 kilometers per hour in a few seconds, a speed that is even comparable to that of trains.

The cheetah has a streamlined body, which reduces the resistance during running, allowing it to run faster. Its strong and muscular legs are also very suitable for running. The cheetah's long tail also helps it maintain balance while running, preventing it from falling when it suddenly turns.
Although the cheetah runs very fast, it has poor endurance. If it doesn't catch prey within a short time, it will give up midway and wait for the next attack. Therefore, despite its sufficient speed, the cheetah's success rate in hunting is not very high.

In addition to using fast running to hunt, the cheetah sometimes hides in grass or bushes and waits for prey to pass by nearby, then suddenly jumps out and attacks the prey. The cheetah's life is very regular, generally starting to hunt around 5 a.m. They walk very cautiously, stopping to look around frequently, either to see if there is prey to hunt or to prevent other ferocious animals from attacking them. At noon, the cheetah usually sleeps for a while. During its nap, it is very vigilant, waking up every few minutes to check the surroundings for any danger.
