One Large Cheetah Leads Four Young Cheetahs Across a Rapid River Full of Crocodiles
1 / 12 In Kenya's Maasai Mara National Park, a photographer discovered 5 cheetahs preparing to cross a rapid river.

2 / 12 The river wasn't very deep a few days ago but became rapid with the rising water. Most importantly the river was full of Nile crocodiles. Just recently one cheetah was killed by a crocodile while crossing the river. The few cheetahs had been lingering by the riverbank before finally deciding to cross.

6 / 12 Watching it almost drowned its body but stubbornly poked out its head.
