Yunnan Honghe ‘City in the Sky’ : A Land of Terraces, Always Shrouded in Mist
Many people know 'Yuyang' but very few people know 'Honghe' – despite the two areas being only 250 kilometers apart.

However, Honghe is always shrouded in mist, and here you can almost see cloud seas every day, so it's not surprising that it's often called 'City in the Sky'. Besides, it's also a land of terraces, home to the world's largest terrace, 'Samaba' – and after nightfall, if the weather is favorable, you can also enjoy vast, boundless starry skies.

Sunday is the market day for the village, and the atmosphere on the market is lively from early morning, with goods for sale lined up on both sides of the streets, and a wide variety of prices – all the chickens, fish, meat, eggs and vegetables come from local production or wild sources; the taste is naturally beyond description. It has been a long time since I've attended such a primitive market, and I found it quite exciting to wander through the crowds.
