Oriental Pearl Tower Reopens Today: What to Note Upon Entry
Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower resumes operation starting today, implementing strict flow control measures, reducing daily visitor flow to 50% of the tower's designated capacity.
This reopening sees the Oriental Pearl Tower's opening time set at 10:00-20:00 daily. An appointment system will be enforced, with online ticket purchases and contactless payment methods prioritized. Tickets must be purchased via the 'Oriental Pearl' WeChat account, major online ticketing platforms, or on-site ticket machines, followed by a mandatory real-name verification upon entry.

Before entering the tower, visitors must present their 'SuShan Code' + 'Appointment Pass Code'. To enter the tower, citizens and tourists should follow the 'Oriental Pearl' WeChat account, register personal information to obtain an 'Appointment Pass Code', and present the ticket along with their 'SuShan Code' + 'Appointment Pass Code' for verification.
Visitors must undergo temperature checks using infrared thermometers or other thermometers before entering the tower. Guests with a temperature of 37.3°C or higher are prohibited from entering.

The operator stated that visitors must wear masks throughout their visit, and relevant prevention and safety requirements and notices are prominently displayed at the main entrance. Visitors are requested to cooperate and comply with these measures.

The reporter observed that today's tower visitors were scarce, and tourists enjoyed the scenery alone in the transparent observation corridor.
