Scenic Area Introduction: Qiaochuan Scenic and Historic Area is a national-level scenic and historic area announced by the State Council in 2004, located 20 kilometers east of Chengxiang (the county seat) in Shaanxi Province, on the banks of the Yellow River. The scenic area boasts a stunning natural landscape within the Yellow River wetlands – “vast reed marshes, thousand-eye karst springs, a variety of rare birds, ten miles of lotus ponds, and a Yellow River.” The area has a long-standing poetic, Yellow River, and ancient Qin culture, with sites associated with Emperor Ji, Yi Yin, Lady Tai, Duyu (Great Flood), Damo, and Zixia, as well as the ancient kingdom of Xin. With an area of 176 square kilometers, it is truly a paradise on earth, a utopian haven.
Xin Kingdom Water City: Xin Kingdom Water City is a large-scale commercial scenic group built within Qiaochuan Scenic and Historic Area. The area integrates historical and cultural tourism with leisure and recreation, with an investment of 550 million yuan and a total area of 603 acres. The Water City Scenic Area features various types of shops, divided into five districts: cultural experience, folk cuisine, leisure and entertainment, Chinese cuisine, and characteristic shopping. It is a major tourist gathering point, a center for folk culture experience, and a recreational carnival center. It includes a wide variety of projects such as characteristic snacks, local specialties, tourist souvenirs, coffee shops, bars, teahouses, fish therapy centers, and hunting/shooting ranges. It is very suitable for family gatherings, parent-child tours, and friends enjoying a leisurely outing.

Specialty Cuisine:

Heyang Lianmian (Tilted Noodles): Lianmian is a unique traditional snack of Heyang County, Shaanxi Province. It is rich in aroma, soft and sticky, and sweet. The origin of Lianmian is said to have been created by Han Xin during the Western Han Dynasty. It has a history of over 2000 years and is considered ‘China’s oldest convenience noodles’.
Yangrou Fan (Lamb Dough): Lamb Dough from Black Pool Town, Heyang County, Shaanxi Province, is said to have been introduced by Mongols during the Yuan Dynasty. Its characteristics are thick oil, delicious flavor, low price, and cost-effective, earning it the title of one of the ‘Four Famous Dishes of Ganzhou.’ In the past, there was a popular saying: ‘It’s better to eat a plate of Lamb Dough than a banquet of dishes,’ reflecting its popularity.
Transportation Routes:
1. Self-driving from Xi'an to Qiaochuan Scenic and Historic Area is about 200 kilometers; self-driving from Weinan is about 130 kilometers.

2. Take a bus from Xi'an East Passenger Transport Hub directly to Heyang Station, then take the scenic bus (public bus) to Qiaochuan Scenic and Historic Area, which takes about 2 hours.
3. Take a bus from Weinan Passenger Transport Center to Heyang Station, about 1.5 hours.
