Self-Driving Trip to Xilin Gol League from Beijing: A Food Tour (Part 1)
On a certain evening in June 2019, my friend Da Niu and I had a sudden whim – to eat meat in Inner Mongolia. The next morning, as the sky was just beginning to lighten, we set off early.

Because we left so early, we arrived at the Jing Zhuang Expressway Beijing Qinghe toll station around 6 o'clock, and the outbound entrance almost had no traffic.

Although it was a little drizzling, it was basically smooth sailing all the way! After exiting Beijing, we felt a little hungry, so we decisively took off the highway to find a place to have breakfast.
Someone will definitely say that stopping to have breakfast is too much detouring! Although instant noodles are convenient and quick, isn't it more satisfying to have a hot bowl of soy milk or tofu brain with a big oil cake?

Finally, the two of us ate two oil cakes, two late-night tofu brains, and a basket of buns (apparently there were ten of them). This one meal stretched into two or three meals, isn't that great? This next meal is definitely going to be taken to Inner Mongolia to eat meat! (To be continued)
