Yilong Lake, Red River: A Bird's Paradise

The shallow pools and shallow water areas around the park are covered with water-tolerant plants such as reeds and flag iris. Dozens of small islands are shaded by lush trees and flowers, and the wetland's rich fish, shrimp, and insect resources provide sufficient food for birds and a habitat for them. This makes the Yilong Lake Wetland Park a wintering and breeding ground for migratory birds and other birds.

Recently, it is the viewing season for the Yilong Lake National Wetland Park in Shijing County, Red River Province.
The Yilong Lake National Wetland Park has a total area of 3749 hectares, of which the wetland area is 3636 hectares. The rich fish, shrimp, and insect resources in the wetland provide sufficient food for birds to live and overwinter. A total of 13 orders and 30 families of 156 species of birds have been recorded in the Yilong Lake Wetland Park.
