Beijing Enters Cherry Blossom Season: Flower Viewing Guide and Precautions
Beijing's spring has arrived, and the vernal equinox has also arrived. The temperature is rising steadily, and today's high temperature reached 24 degrees. The flowers are all blooming brilliantly. Except for Beijing Zoo and the China Garden Museum, the outdoor scenic areas of 10 municipal parks are open normally, and visitors are eager to go to the park to admire flowers and enjoy the scenery.

Beijing's parks have many kinds of flowers, and now they are gradually entering the flowering season. The Summer Palace, a royal garden during the Qing Dynasty, can be appreciated from March to April, mainly admiring the jade plum trees and peach blossoms. There have already been many tourists taking photos on the West Bank and Kunming Lake shore. Zhongshan Park can appreciate mountain peach blossoms, apricot blossoms, honeysuckle and plum blossoms. Beihai Park can see apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, white star anise, purple star anise and peach blossoms from the end of March to early April. Entering the park requires temperature testing and wearing masks. If the number of visitors is excessive, the park will be restricted from entering.

Previously, the flowering season of Juyuan Park was cherry blossom season, can we see cherry blossoms this year? This year the cherry blossom festival was cancelled, if you want to go, you need to make an appointment in advance, but you can still go. Juyuan Park has this regulation, during holidays and tourist crowds, the cherry garden will implement one-way touring; when the number of tourists in the park approaches 30% of the instantaneous carrying capacity, tourists will be temporarily suspended from entering the park, and coordinated with relevant departments to adjust the flow.

With the wind and warm sunshine, the flowers are blooming, and everyone who goes out to enjoy the scenery and exercise should be mindful. According to statistics, the tourist flow of popular parks such as the Olympic Forest Park has increased rapidly, and the daily passenger flow of more than 10,000 people in more than 10 parks across the city. Subsequently, the Olympic Forest Park in Beijing launched a flow control measure on the 11th, limited 4 entrance areas, and if there is a large flow of tourists, it will take staggered entry and exit.

Currently, Chaoyang Park, Summer Palace, Beijing Olympic Forest Park, and many other scenic areas in Beijing have successively issued flow control measures. Juyuan Park and Yuanming Garden all require advance booking for entry. To ensure health, experts advise everyone not to gather in famous parks, you can go to smaller parks or parks near your homes, avoid crowds.
In this special period, we must comply with relevant regulations, cooperate with the park's booking and testing work, take care of ourselves, and think of others. There will not be a spring that will not come, and everything will soon return to a thriving state, let's continue to persevere together.
