Picture Story - Singapore
Singapore, the Southern Nation in my heart, a land occupied by the British and Malays. The first time coming, communication was seamless because here, whether Chinese, Indian, or Malay, everyone from childhood learned both English and Chinese. I initially thought a five or six-day trip to this small Singapore would be enough, but I ended up staying for eight days and still wanted more. My favorite place was definitely Sentosa Island, where I could fully enjoy the tranquility brought by nature. Universal Studios on the island was incredibly crowded. The marine park wasn't too crowded and was a must-visit. Of course, I couldn't miss Chinatown () and Merlion Park. When bringing children, it's a must to visit Singapore Zoo, River Wonders and Night Safari – you can buy a package to save money. Getting a taxi in Singapore is convenient, but you must hail one from the hotel or taxi station, otherwise they won't stop you. Taking a taxi during peak hours is incredibly expensive, so avoid it. Eight days flew by, and I really wanted to stay longer. When I returned home, it was the time when the country announced the outbreak of pneumonia, and I was quarantined for a few days because of my late return. It was the luckiest thing that happened in 2020. The pictures were taken on my phone.
