One Water and Soil Nurtures One People: Exploring Architectural Beauty and Inner Stories
Every time you arrive somewhere, what are you most curious about? I love to explore the stories behind them, just like I couldn't understand the deep-rooted Shanghai with Shanghai locals, but still wanted to learn more about it.

To see the snow on Montfaucon, I made three trips, and finally, under blue skies and white clouds, I saw the endless mountain range far away. The two ladies in the Haute-Rhône-Lyonnais Museum, no longer relying on the transparent glass showcase inside the mountain, but walking to the side of the surrounding ancient Roman theater, watching the serene wind and clouds, and the mountains remained silent.
In the old town alley, potted flowers hung on window ledges, birds perched on decorative carvings, and I watched the tourists passing by. The houses had stood for over a hundred years, you could see the vicissitudes of time, and also listen to the stories behind them. It was a nun's residence, Jean, who had taught children here about 500 years ago. Her convent became a place for children to learn. It is still preserved, and locals built a statue to commemorate her.
Between two buildings, a half-timbered house stood in the middle, like a three-step staircase. This building was called Claude's, built in 1516, and it was preserved. It squeezed between two houses, allowing us to see the architectural style of the time.
Lyonnais has produced many famous people, and the locals wanted to commemorate them. The Lyonnais, who loved art, used painting to tell the story of the Lyonnais, covering a seven-story building. Here, the printing and textile industries, the Pier family, hot air balloons, sewing machines, and movies… all can be found here.

In a city famous for its textiles, you must go to see their textile industry. I arrived at the industrial revolution square and saw textiles, a hand-made pillow, and craft items. There are many high-end fabric materials here, which is why many famous French brands have so many qualities. Art and quality are combined.
There is a courtyard nearby that is very grand. I was able to enter and see it with the help of two policemen, and took a photo with a staff member. I later learned that it was the Lyon City Hall, which is a four-room house. The opposite of the City Hall is the opera house, which looks like a treasure chest. I was about to take a look inside, when a group of hippies came over, with shaved heads and tattoos, walking around randomly. A group of police officers came over to observe and gave up. I turned right to the museum, remembering the hotel staff's advice: safety first.
Compared to the noisy outside, the museum is a place where souls can rest. Besides a golden-haired woman crying in a corner, I walked around her and continued to experience this quiet tranquility.

Coming out of the museum, there is a statue opposite, with a grand momentum. A woman riding a four-horse carriage seems to be about to come out. This sculpture has a great story. The designer is Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, who designed the Statue of Liberty. It is better to remember that he is the designer of the Statue of Liberty.

European art is bold and delicate, direct and unrestrained. The images and videos I saw before were different from the appearance in the new district, Golden Head Park, where the entrance is the famous statue of Heads. Various sculptures can be seen on the buildings in Lyon. The charm of culture is embodied in this.
After a few days of travel, you can see the external cultural traces, but you can't see the internal cultural inheritance. Maybe we will never integrate into foreign lands. Only hometown is the best cultural soil for everyone. Throughout our lives, we have worked hard and come out, and it is our indelible cultural memory. One water and soil nurture one nation and one people.
