Good News! "Offshore Disney" Reopens, Port Offers "Gift Package" to Islanders

Recently, the Dahitou District Qishan Island Tourism Resort (Qishan National Ocean Park), which aims to ‘build an offshore Disney’, has officially resumed operations.

To accelerate the progress of the Qishan Island Tourism Resort project, and to alleviate the difficulties faced by enterprises, on March 6th, Mr. Su Yuan, Director of the Dingtao District Port and Harbor Management Center, accompanied by relevant departments such as port and shipping, visited Zhejiang Shenshan Real Estate Co., Ltd. to carry out support activities.

Qishan Island Marine Park Project

It is understood that the Qishan Island Marine Park Project is one of the largest investment and recruitment projects in Dingtao District, WenZhou, in recent years, with a total planned investment of 18.6 billion yuan. After completion, it will become the most comprehensive, project-complete, and largest seaside resort in the region, and will drive the overall tourism development of Dingtao.

Create a safe offshore tourism environment

During the meeting, the project leader expressed his gratitude and support to the port and harbor center personnel, and detailed the current progress of the Qishan Island project, and raised issues about berth approval and material transport. Currently, the project has passed the preliminary design approval, and the construction drawing compilation is basically complete.

In response to the issues raised by the project leader, Mr. Su Yuan focused on answering relevant questions about berth approval and material transport. Firstly, Mr. Su Yuan pointed out that, while ensuring the safety of the seawall, they will provide full support for the approval work during construction; secondly, regarding material transport, they will coordinate the port management agency to cooperate with the material transport of the Qishan Island project.

In addition, since February 18th, the Dingtao District Port and Harbor Management Center has assisted the company to complete 4 transport missions, mainly transporting cement, steel bars, equipment, and will also provide full support for the construction of the Qishan Island project, to promote the development of Dingtao coastal tourism, and create a safe offshore tourism environment.
