Anhui Wuhu Xiangshijian: Fields of Yellow Mustard Flowers

In early March, it's the prime time for rapeseed flowers to bloom. In Wuhu City, Anhui Province, China, the Sanxi District of E Qiao Town, around Xiangshijian, there are ten thousand acres of rapeseed flowers blooming in competition, blending with the intricate network of gullies and rivers, creating a picturesque mountain and water landscape with a rural atmosphere. Xiangshijian is therefore known as ‘Anhui’s Huangshan,’ attracting many tourists every spring to come and admire the flowers and enjoy the fresh air.

During the season of blooming rapeseed flowers, when you climb to the majestic Xiangshijian Dam and look out, you can see the peaks, houses, roads, and rivers all blended into the rapeseed flower sea, which is a spectacular sight. Looking down from above, local villagers skillfully plant different crops to create ‘Xiangshijian’ and ‘Xiangshijian welcomes you,’ which looks like a business card from a distance. The golden rapeseed flowers and distant mountains and nearby water create a picturesque mountain spring landscape, which is also a favorite photography spot for countless photographers.
