The filming locations of the movie "Wonder Woman" are in Ravello, Italy, known as the seaside garden.
It is said that the essence of Italy lies in the newly popular Amalfi Coast, with the coastline stretching 50 kilometers along the southern coast of Italy. Thanks to its rugged terrain and rich history, the towns along the coast have also been designated as World Heritage Sites, and were once listed as one of the 50 most worth visiting destinations globally.

The Amalfi Coast boasts numerous small towns: the exceptionally beautiful Positano, the favorite of artists Ravello, the historic Amalfi, and the smallest town in southern Italy, Atrani. Ravello, located in the south of Italy, is one of the most famous attractions on the Amalfi Coast. This town is built on a mountain and, upon arrival, you can already see the open square. The town is home to approximately 25,000 residents and was once the home of the nobility in the 12th century.

Ravello was once a resort town for the Romans, so it still retains many old villas. Along the way up the hill, you'll encounter many kittens. The famous composer Richard Wagner was attracted to this town, so he came here to gain musical inspiration and created several outstanding works.
Villa Cimbrone, located at the top of the hill, is a must-visit if you have time. It is a lush and elegant private estate. Its history dates back to the 11th century, but in the 20th century it was purchased and renovated by British politician Lord Bekett, decorated with various ancient artifacts from all over Italy. The villa requires a ticket to enter.

The villas are also a favorite of artists, including Jacqueline Kennedy, the wife of the President, who once resided here. Nowadays, some modern hotels have been built here, which has added a bit of commercial atmosphere, but for many lovers who come here to shoot wedding photos, it is a great romantic photo location.

To reach this town, you must pass through a rugged mountain road. But when you arrive in Ravello, seeing the gardens and tree-lined avenues inside will make you feel that it was worth it.

Visiting Amalfi Coast is best in springtime, when it is warm and humid, and many flowers bloom, which is breathtaking. August is the peak season for Ravello, which is also when Italians take their summer holidays.
The town is open all day and can be freely viewed and enjoyed. The villa style is very diverse, with the exterior walls appearing gray and black, and small arches and vines witness the years here.

Stepping out of the garden, you will see many rows of stone houses, which contrast sharply with the villas in the garden.

The villas have excellent viewing platforms with open views, overlooking the Amalfi Coastline. The platforms are lined with Roman statues, which are the essence of Villa Cimbrone. This place is also known as the Amalfi Coast's seaside garden, especially at night, with the lights on, it creates a rare beauty.

The town is also a 'City of Music'. It also hosts a music festival every year, with most indoor musical performances created in these old villa districts, attracting countless music lovers to listen to the performance, while also enjoying the boundless beauty of the coast.

The movie 'Wonder Woman's' Paradise Island, with its incredibly blue sea and fine sand, attracted many people. The scenery in the film was shot in Ravello. It is said that French writer André Gide would praise 'it is a place closer to the blue sky than the sea' at that time.

Villa Cimbrone's artistic atmosphere is very rich, it is a very exquisite and unique huge garden, and the viewing platform here is also a great place to appreciate the Amalfi Coast scenery. There is also a polygonal castle – Monte Castle, at the top of the town, which is considered one of the most complex medieval constructions, and is now also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Looking at these buildings, you can't help but be attracted by the human and historical aspects and the scenery here.
