Sichuan Online Report (Zhou Shu, reporter Qin Yong/photo) In early March, with the budding of spring, it's a great time for hiking and enjoying flowers. Residents of Zigong are starting to leave their homes and head to the countryside to breathe fresh air and experience the atmosphere of spring.
On March 14th, while overlooking from the hilltop in Qianchuan Village, Fuling County, you'll see a grove of peach trees in full bloom, with trees covered in rosy red and white blossoms, creating a beautiful and vibrant scene.
Qianchuan Village has a 350-mu (approximately 23 hectares) viewing peach orchard, currently in its peak bloom season, with the flowering period extending until the end of March. In April, you can come here to see cherry blossoms, and in June, you can see purple hibiscus flowers. To get here from the Nei Yi High-Speed Road, take the exit from the plate bridge town, and it’s a 300-meter drive.
The peach blossoms in Qianchuan Village have become a ‘popular topic’ on WeChat Moments, with a constant stream of tourists visiting. Starting March 15th, the village will implement a flow control policy, limiting the peak visitor numbers to no more than 10,000 people at any given time.
Meanwhile, in the Yong’an District, Fuling County, at the Fenghui Peach Blossom Watermelon Blossom Industrial Park, peach blossoms stand proudly on the branches. Visitors stroll beneath the pink peach trees, taking photos and enjoying the spring atmosphere. In mid-May, the watermelons grown here will ripen, with an expected yield of 150,000 jin (approximately 75 tons).
Additionally, the Yong’an District’s Guan Yun Lake Scenic Area’s tulips are quietly blooming, some in full bloom, others just beginning to open, creating a stunning layered effect. It's a great place for hiking and enjoying the spring scenery.
In the Anchan District, Baixing Village, you can not only pick strawberries, melon, and sugarcane, but also fish and fly kites, making it a perfect place for a weekend outing with family and friends.
At the end of March and early April, the rose buds in Anchan District’s Renmin Village will quietly bloom, releasing a fragrance like a sweet poem. It’s a small happiness in everyday life, especially for romantic outings among the rose fields.
Like a sudden spring breeze, thousands of peach trees are in full bloom. In the Daan District, Saduo Zhai pear blossoms are blooming like snow, creating a dazzling and colorful spectacle. Come for a family interaction, and enjoy the pureness and beauty of the world.
