Yellow River's Huoqiu Waterfall Experiences 'Peach Flood'On March 17th, the Yellow River's Huoqiu Waterfall experienced a 'Peach Flood.' As temperatures continue to rise and influenced by the melting of upstream ice and the opening of new rivers, the flow of the Huoqiu Waterfall increased dramatically, forming a magnificent waterfall group with rainbows accompanying it. 'Peach Flood' refers to the spring flood that occurs from late March to early April, when the ice melt in the Inner Mongolia section of the Yellow River causes a spring flood. When this flood flows downstream, it coincides with the flowering of peach blossoms along the banks, hence the name 'Peach Flood.' Meteorological Life (China News Agency)
