In the real world, there are also fairytale-like paradises as depicted in fairy tales. As long as we look for them with our hearts, we can find such places. In the Netherlands, there is a truly fairytale village, this small town has not been paved with roads for seven hundred years, and there is not a single car, yet people love it extremely, making it another popular tourist destination.

This small town is located in the north of the Netherlands, called Giethoorn, people call it the Dutch Venice, and the term 'human paradise' is not without reason. As soon as you enter Giethoorn, you may suspect that you have arrived in a fairytale world. Low thatched houses, thick lawns, cute bridges, everything is as if built according to fairy tale villages. Here, you can take a photo at will, and you can take out beautiful photos because the scenery everywhere is captivating. Quiet streams, occasionally butterflies fly across, small flowers hide in the grass on the shore, what a cute and quiet scene.
However, this paradise that fascinates tourists has not been paved with a road and there is not a single car, and in its seven hundred years of history, how did people travel here? It turns out that here is a network of waterways, there is no need for roads, rivers connect every corner of the town. When people travel, they only need to ride a small boat, so boats play an important role in the lives of the locals. People take boats to attend weddings, visit relatives and friends, and even postal workers take boats to deliver letters.

As early as when the town was established, there were not so many rivers, people came here to develop coal mines, and out of the need to transport coal, they dug rivers, thus forming the prototype of Giethoorn village.
