TOP1, Yanshi Cultural Site Museum

Yanshi Cultural Site Museum is located 30 kilometers east of Luoyang City, Yanshi, Henan Province. The architecture simulates the Yin Shang capital city ‘Yin Shang Capital City’ No. 1 Palace, with ‘Four-Arm Re-arm’ style ancient palace building group. It is a historical thematic museum;

Yanshi Cultural Site Museum was built on the ruins of the Yin Dynasty (16th century) ancient city, and the cultural site is the earliest, largest and best-preserved ancient city excavated in China;

Yanshi Cultural Site Museum is the only museum in China that integrates research, exhibition and propaganda of Xia and Shang dynasties;

It is located in the southwest corner of Yanshi City, 100 meters east of the Yanshi Cultural Site; The hall is centered, with corridors connected to the workshop. It was completed in 1987 and officially opened to the public;

Xuanzang’s Hometown is located in Chenhe Village, Guishi Town, Yanshi City, Luoyang;

Lying against the scenic mountain, overlooking the Yellow Mountains, southeast is Lu (huan)yuan ancient pass, and west adjacent to the Luque Dragon Gate. The prairie is flat, the valley is crossed, and it has been a key town of Lu capital for thousands of years;

Xuanzang’s Hometown Scenic Area has 7 attractions, including Xuanzang’s Residence, Royal Temple of Light, Chen Family Garden, Phoenix Ridge, Horse Foot Spring, Drying Column and West Plains Cemetery;

Located in the center of Chenhe Village, facing north and south, with an area of 25 acres and a building area of 6000 square meters;

Yanshi Erli Head Village is located between the Yi and Luo two rivers, about 18 kilometers from Luoyang City; East and west are about 2.5 kilometers long, and north and south are about 1.5 kilometers wide;

It is the ruins of the Yin Dynasty capital city in 1959. Many stone tools, pottery, jade artifacts were unearthed here, among which small copper artifacts such as knives, cauldrons, bells are the earliest bronze artifacts seen in China;

Yanshi Erli Head Site is now listed as a national key archaeological excavation site;

Yanshi Erli Head Site includes Yanshi Erli Head, ‘Tuo Dang Tou’ and ‘Four Corner Towers’, with a total area of 4 million square meters, accumulating four cultural layers. Through archaeological research, Yanshi Erli Head Culture Site is of great scale, with complete facilities, rich content;

There are palaces, tombs, houses, roads, wells and other discoveries, and also discovered copper smelting and pottery production sites. It shows that Yanshi is one of the earliest places in China to enter the Bronze Age. It also shows that Luoyang is a key area;

The late cultural layer of Yanshi Erli Head Site also unearthed many jade artifacts, such as jade censers, jade tripods and jade rings, and pottery artifacts, including pottery turtles, pottery pigs and pottery sheep heads, as well as pottery carvings of one-foot-and-two-body dragons, snakes, turtles and people;

Puyang Mountain is located 34 kilometers southeast of Lianfeng Town, Wangyuan County, at the intersection of Zhangjiawan Village and Gujike Village, with an altitude of 2186-2509 meters, named ‘First Mountain’ because the sun first shines on it, and is known for its beauty and strangeness;
