Suitable for Excursions – Longquan Peach Blossoms
In this season of blossoming flowers and flying birds, I made a plan with my friends to admire the plum blossoms in Longquan, which is located in the suburbs of Chengdu, and is the largest plum-producing area in Sichuan. Farmers, to facilitate harvesting and increase yields, have all shortened their plum trees, although the flowers bloom across the mountains and valleys, but from a distance, they look more like the grass growing on the ground, inconspicuous! This contrasts sharply with the plum blossoms in Linzhi. Linzhi plum blossoms have more ancient trees and have not been artificially shortened, so their tree shapes are tall and diverse, with strong crowns, supported by blue skies and snow-capped mountains, hidden among the farmhouses, giving one the feeling of 'all things competing for freedom in the heavenly frost'! If I have the opportunity, I would still go to Linzhi to admire the plum blossoms, and Longquan plum blossoms are more suitable for outings and gatherings with friends.
