Weinan Garden Planting Busily, Beautifying the South Loess Plateau
Tomorrow is the 42nd National Tree Planting Day in China. With the spring breeze in March, and all things reviving, the impression of March – the (yu qian - elm seeds) hanging in clusters on the trees, and the sweet fragrance of clusters of (hua hua - locust blossoms) – is still nostalgic. Every year at this time, many people will plant a tree full of meaning, either to wish for everlasting greenery and ecological harmony, or to bless families with harmony and well-being, and the purpose is all the same: to retain our green water and blue sky.

Looking far ahead, and close-up views of the scenery, you can rest in the shade of the trees, with gentle slopes and dry streams. Along the winding Liberation South Road, park workers are busy planting seedlings, using iron tools to loosen the soil, or to move and carry them, or to dig holes and water them, planting (la mei - osmanthus flowers), silver fir, Chinese magnolia, and of course, (jing shi - landscape stones). It’s a bustling scene.

Xin Yuan Company Staff: ‘We can see that the landscape node includes not only the number of flowering and green plants, but also incorporates landscape stones and plants to create a refreshing and comfortable feeling. Adding Hua Shan stone not only incorporates local cultural characteristics, but also adds a sense of natural weight, allowing citizens to feel close to nature, enter nature, and embrace nature when they come here.’

Xin Yuan Green Construction Company Project Manager Zhang Feng told reporters that the (Wei Nan - Weinan) north-south (yuan - – a kind of elevated ground) ecological governance and restoration project is one of their key projects. The project plans to build green space of more than 700,000 square meters, plant 200,000 shrubs, and build (stack dao - boardwalks), walking paths, rest platforms, and landscape platforms. It strives to create a citizen leisure and entertainment Weinan suburban park.

Xin Yuan Company Project Manager Zhang Feng: ‘We plan to plant silver fir and part of the snow pine and cypress on the north slope, and in the future, some landscape-shaped pines and spherical plants will be added to the external nodes and positions, presenting a beautiful and visually appealing effect that citizens will feel.’
