Challenge 365 Different Breakfasts for My Child - Mom's Love Brings Joy
Last year I was very busy, even neglecting to properly prepare my child's breakfast. For a few days, the child made their own breakfast, and when we had dinner, I found the rice was very dark in color, I asked the child, 'What did you use? Why is it so dirty?'
The son said, 'Mom, you shouldn’t say I did this.'
I said, 'Oh? Is it really dirty water?'
The son said, 'Of course not, I used tea-boiled rice, just wanted to taste how delicious it is!'
Oh, this little guy is quite creative. Later, during our meal, I enthusiastically praised the child.
I had been trying to make all kinds of delicious food for my child before, and the child always felt very proud to say, 'My mom makes such delicious breakfast.'

I seem to have made less breakfast over the past year. When I opened the food group of my friend, they were all still showing off their daily beautiful and delicious breakfasts, which made me sigh.
For example, my daughter was about to take an exam, so she wrote ‘A’ on the cake for her, so that she could get good grades.
When the daughter was in a bad mood, she made a big smiley face for her, making the daughter happy.
Another friend would write a small note with breakfast, encouraging the child to study and have a good mood every day!
I had once thought about making 365 different breakfasts for my child, but I heard that it’s impossible, because there wouldn’t be so many ingredients.
Actually, with my experience, it’s completely possible, as long as you use various small ingredients, grains, vegetables, and fruits in different combinations. This kind of breakfast will bring joy and ritual to life.
Breakfast is very important for babies because their bodies’ energy reserves after a night’s sleep are at their lowest. A nutritious breakfast is the beginning of a healthy life for babies.
In a meal of three courses, breakfast is the most important. If breakfast is like eating a feast, lunch is like being an official, and dinner is like being a beggar. However, many families eat noodles for breakfast to save time.
Breakfast should be nutritious and easy to digest, and it should also be balanced. To ensure that everyone in the family eats a nutritious breakfast, you can pay attention to the following six points:
1. Have vegetables and fruits
Every day should have seasonal fruits, such as apples, bananas, and pears in spring. Eating dried vegetables in spring is also a good way to moisten the intestines.
Breakfast is usually not very hungry, so you can make some refreshing salads. Various vegetables suitable for spring are also very abundant. If you can dig some wild vegetables from the mountains, they will be fragrant and nutritious.
2. Have protein
You can boil an egg for the baby every day, and milk and beans are rich in protein. Breakfast should ensure an intake of 250ml of milk or bean curd, one egg or a few slices of pork, beef, or chicken, to ensure the baby’s nutritional needs.
3. Need grains
It can be steamed buns, steamed bread, rice porridge, etc. Coarse grains and fine grains have different effects when eaten.
4. Dry and wet combination
Before, my family’s staple breakfast was steamed buns and steamed bread as grains, rice porridge as rice, and a little preserved vegetable. This is a good combination. However, after having a child, it is recommended to have a more diverse breakfast.
5. Fine and coarse combination
Coarse grains contain a lot of B vitamins, so you can eat corn and potatoes as breakfast.
6. Variety
You can combine different combinations, which will not take up too much time. But the baby will feel happy to see various combinations.
Such as main ingredients can be noodles, steamed buns, steamed bread, dumplings, wontons, steamed cake, and flower rolls.
The dishes can be various green vegetables, buy a little bit of each one.
Fruits can be apples, pears, strawberries, bananas, and small tomatoes.
Rice porridge can be rice porridge, blood rice porridge, or bean curd porridge for babies.
Sometimes I don’t have time to make breakfast, I will cut up leftover vegetables and carrots into small pancakes and cook them in a pan, which is very delicious. I remember that last year I picked a lot of elm money and made small pancakes, and the child ate them happily.
These are some basic principles of making breakfast, and I will share more diverse breakfasts for my child later.I hope everyone can enjoy their lives with flavorful and beautiful breakfasts, and let children’s digestion and spleen be better!
