Cute 3-Year-Old Orangutan in Belgium Plays Tricky, Dragged by Mother
Pairi Daiza Zoo has a cute orangutan, and photographer Koen Hartkamp captured many amusing photos during his visit to the park.

According to a Daily Mail report on February 27th, the orangutan is named Berani and is 3 years old.

During one day, it lay on the ground and refused to move in front of its mother. Then, the mother orangutan grabbed Berani and dragged it forward. This scene was captured by Hartkamp, and netizens jokingly said Berani looks like his younger self.
Some netizens commented, ‘Mom did a great job! As parents, we’ve all seen our children act like this.’ The user said it should be made clear who is the boss.
Some netizens sighed, ‘Seeing such photos, who would dare to deny evolution?’ Indeed, the interaction between the mother and son is just like humans.’
The dragged Berani also had a tantrum, but quickly made up with its mother and gave it a kiss.

Hartkamp said that although Berani is becoming more independent, like all young children, it still needs to listen to its mother, but from the photos, it doesn’t like this.
Hartkamp also photographed Berani’s daily activities, such as wearing a yellow blanket and looking very well-behaved, or taking a rest and drinking water cleverly when tired.
Berani and its parents moved to Pairi Daiza Zoo in Belgium in 2017.
Pairi Daiza Zoo is located in Brugelette, East Flanders, Belgium, and is a private botanical garden. The park covers an area of 65 hectares and has more than 4000 animals.
