Long esteemed as the 'Jade Pearl of JiNan,' the city of Gucheng in Guangping has seen over 5,000 acres of pear blossoms in pristine white splendor, breathtakingly beautiful, a favorite destination for fruit farmers busy with pollination and citizens seeking a scenic stroll.

In the vibrant spring of renewal and burgeoning life, the ShuangMiao Village pear garden in Bengyin Town, Guangping County, boasts a thousand acres of pear blossoms, attracting people to seek the essence of spring. Fruit farmers are seizing the opportunity to manually pollinate the pear trees to ensure a successful harvest this year, guaranteeing quality and large, sweet fruit, along with good fruit shape.

I planted five acres of pear trees, and I'm currently pollinating them. I have relatives and people who have come to help – it's a critical time; pears need to be pollinated to produce large, sweet fruit, and good fruit shape.
Due to the higher-than-usual spring climate and temperatures, the pear trees have bloomed earlier than in previous years. In the pear garden, you can find a diverse array of pears – Daping Pear, Imperial Pear, and Red Fragrant Pear – all blooming in unique forms, vying for attention, with multiple flower buds sprouting from each blossom stalk, and each flower pistil displaying its own beauty. With the trees green and water flowing gently over the rocks, these clusters of snow-white blossoms are a prominent landmark. Strolling through the pear garden in the spring breeze, admiring the flowers, and taking a stroll is a blissful experience, prompting a desire to return again and again.
It is reported that the pear blossom season is expected to last until the end of this month and early April, while the pears will be ready for harvest in August and September, with an annual yield of around 5,000 kilograms per acre, which is the fruit farmers' purse strings.
