Recently, as the first tourism homestay village in our county, the 'Liu Shui Bai Nong Shen Yuan' homestay and leisure village (Phase 1) with 22 rooms, located in Qian Zhuang Village, Shuiting Community, Pingyang County, has been completed and is now open to the public and has already received several groups of guests.
Liu Shui Bai Nong Shen Yuan has been attracting tourists since its opening in the second half of 2013, creating a relatively successful agricultural garden operation model in our county. According to reports, the creator of Liu Shui Bai Nong Shen Yuan, Pingyang Bo Feng Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., who tasted the sweet results, began building a homestay and leisure village in the West Shore Natural Village where Liu Shui Bai Nong Shen Yuan is located in the first half of this year. They adopted the form of renting out existing houses to villagers for renovation and unified operation. The rented houses come in various forms, with the exterior walls of ordinary old houses being painted, the interiors being renovated, and the renovated houses featuring traditional carved wooden windows and doors, wooden ceiling decorations, and old-fashioned stoves. Surrounding the houses are traditional stone walls, creating a nostalgic atmosphere.
The interior includes a tea room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and two standard bedrooms equipped with antique beds and furniture. Modern villas also offer bedrooms, lounges, and karaoke facilities, making them ideal for small families and student gatherings. It is expected that over 90 houses will be renovated, and the first phase of 22 rooms can now be open to the public.
Next week, on August 23rd, the Qunyang Town will host the 'Taste a Thousand-Year Culture Tour of Ancient Yongyang' Beautiful Rural Tourism Festival.
