In early March, spring blossoms are in full bloom. The land of Maji surveyed everywhere with tree planting and afforestation, a busy scene. Currently, Maji is vigorously promoting greening and improvement around 'Three Innovations and Four Constructions' to achieve a new height and support the creation of a national garden city.

Like You Lake Shallow Area

Entering Like You Lake, greening work is being carried out intensively, with the poetic Like You Lake appearing more elegant under the diligent work of gardeners.

Maji's Like You Lake Shallow Area is located on the south bank of the Fugyang River, north of the Zuobiao Bridge and south of the Fugyang River Bridge, with planting adopting tailored measures, following the slope, forming a landscape space with staggered heights, clear layers, rich colors, and profound atmosphere.

In the Like You Lake Shallow Area, 48 species of trees, 20+ species of shrubs, and 15 species of flowers are mainly planted, with a greening area of 250 acres. The greening area of Like You Lake's shallow area will reach 250 acres, with a large number of varieties and projects, which will present a landscape effect of spring flowers and autumn leaves complementing each other upon completion.

To ensure survival rate and project completion rate, the County Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau accelerated and seized the early opportunity to seize the spring season and compete for initiative, ensuring that all projects are completed with high quality.

Fugyang River Shoreline

Along the banks of Like You Lake, driving south would reveal the beauty of the Fugyang River shoreline, which will be one of the important nodes of the 2020 City Fifth Session Travel Promotion Conference. Through creating water streets, river bank heritage, observation pavilions, flowering pathways, dragon tower peak, and lotus pond wharf, it showcased the unique splendor of Maji's water culture.

On the slope of the Fugyang River bank, white birch, purple plum, hibiscus, and other about 100 species of plants, with approximately 75 acres of greening on both sides of the river, various trees and various layers, making the Fugyang River water appear more agile.

'Pull the line tight, then plant the seedlings on the drawn white line, do not plant too deep, step on it firmly and then water…' Workers are carefully and orderly carrying out scientific planting at the tree belt on both sides of the Fugyang River.

As of March 26th, 8700 Chinese parasols, 8600 white willows, and 70 row trees have been planted on the right bank, and all 400 willow trees have been planted on the left bank. 11000 Chinese parasols and 5000 female peaches have all been planted. To ensure one plant survives and one plant lives, and to complete the greening and improvement tasks within the specified time, the County Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau strengthened supervision of the greening and improvement projects, ensuring that the project tasks are completed within the specified time.

Mingli Road Strip Park

Mingli Road Strip Park, an important, has a construction area of 14.55 hectares, extending from west to east along Friendship Avenue to Zhonghua Cijie Avenue, with a length of more than 3000 meters and a width of 50 meters. The greening varieties include trees, shrubs, and flowers, which can reach flowering in three seasons and evergreen all year round.

Road greening improvement is an important window to showcase the city's image. Zhonghua Cijie Avenue, as one of the main roads for Maji's entry and exit, its construction and improvement are related to the overall greening standards of Maji. Zhonghua Cijie Avenue is approximately 6230 meters long, starting from Mingli Road and extending north for 100 meters to Harmony Avenue, south for 100 meters to Zhonghua Cijie Avenue, and west for 100 meters to Wei Feng Road. The design scope is mainly on the side road greening and the central isolation belt greening, and the non-motorized isolation belt greening. Zhonghua Cijie Avenue intersects with Harmony Avenue, extending north and south and west for 100 meters.

Rose of Sharon, American Purple Violet, climbing Rose of Sharon, large-leaved yellow poplar, red-leaved stone fruit fence… these plants will bloom in August and September, designed into landscape oil pine and stone formations at corners of roads, and seasonal flowers as embellishment, and supplemented with American Purple Violet trees at dividing islands, with diverse forms and rich layers.

Harmony Avenue, Zhonghua Cijie Avenue, Welcome Avenue… These roads have incorporated unique design concepts, while maximizing the preservation of existing seedlings, adding flowering plants in autumn. Green lawns, colorful flowers, and alternating red and yellow shrubs formed a three-dimensional landscape painting, which was beautiful and full of life, bringing vitality to the city.
