The Beautiful Rural Revitalization Picture of Qiyang is Unfolding

Welcome to the beautiful village of Sanjia Village, where you can pick strawberries, admire rape blossoms, and enjoy the beautiful spring light in nature… Since November, Qiyang County's Bazhu Town's Sanjia Village has become a famous tourist attraction. The village is located on the banks of the Xiang River. Spring strolls, summer cooling, autumn fruit harvests, and winter farm stays – it's a favorite spot for locals to play all year round.

Since 2019, the Qiyang County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau has increased its efforts to improve rural living environments, actively exploring rural living environment improvement paths in Qiyang. Following the principle of 'government-led, graded responsibility, departmental support, collective supplementation, public participation, and diversified investment,' it has perfected the 'one demolition, two transformations, three planting, and four cleaning' action policy support, completing 200 well-deserved rural revitalization demonstration villages, providing a strong backing for the county's rural revitalization.

In Guangnantan Town, reporters saw villagers building scenery, planting trees, and constructing a sewage treatment pool. Two years ago, Xinjiantun was still a remote, impoverished area, with villagers working outside the country and their yards messy. Now, villagers are employed at their doorstep, their yards are clean and tidy, and tourists flock to the village.

All of this is thanks to Qiyang County's efforts to improve rural living environments. Since February of this year, Xinjiantun has removed 3200 square meters of dilapidated toilets, cleared 100 vehicle-loads of accumulated garbage, planted 1600 square meters of trees and greenery, and is committed to maintaining its beautiful environment.

Village Committee Chairman Ren Baohua said he would continue to deepen the 'one demolition, two transformation, three planting, and four cleaning' action, increase the efforts to improve rural living environments. In the future, he will organize villagers to sort waste from the source and prioritize village cleanliness, to create a beautiful village.

'One demolition, two transformation, three planting, and four cleaning' is a simple and clear action plan that has achieved initial results in the first year, stepped up in the second year, and undergone a major transformation in the third year. In 2018, July 27th, 2019, January 23rd, and 2019, October 16th, Qiyang County made experience introductions at the Provincial Rural Living Environment Improvement, Provincial Rural Work Conference and Provincial Rural Living Environment Improvement Work Site Promotion Conference. Qiyang County was awarded the 2019 Provincial Rural Living Environment Improvement Advanced County.
