Cake base ingredients

Eggs (separate yolks and whites) 3, granulated sugar 40g, low-gluten flour 55g, cornstarch 5g, milk 30g, corn oil (a flavorless oil is fine) 32g

Specific steps

1. Whisk egg yolks with a small amount of sugar until evenly mixed. Add oil and milk, then sift in low-gluten flour and starch.


2. Add a few drops of lemon juice to the egg whites. Whisk with an electric mixer until large bubbles are formed. Add the first sugar and whisk until uniform bubbles are formed. Add the second sugar and whisk until stiff peaks form.


3. Add one-third of the egg whites to the egg yolk mixture and mix evenly. Then pour the mixed batter into the remaining two-thirds of the egg whites and mix evenly (cut and fold).

4. Preheat oven to 150°F (70°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the container and bake with top and bottom heat at 150°F (70°C) for 14 minutes.


5. Use a cup to cut out circular cake bases. Two pieces at a time. Spread sauce in the middle and then coat the outside with more sauce. Roll in the meat flakes.

Egg whites must be beaten in a clean, dry bowl.
