Delicious Steamed Bass: Do You Know How to Make It?

Today, I'd like to share a simple and delicious dish with you – Steamed Bass. It's a staple of home feasts and restaurant menus.

Steamed Bass Recipe

Main Ingredients: 1 Bass Fish

Auxiliary Ingredients: 2 Green Onions, 1 Small Piece of Ginger, 2 Bird's Eye Chilies

Seasoning: Salt, Cooking Wine, Steamed Fish Soy Sauce, Peanut Oil

1. Clean the bass fish thoroughly with water, and cut three knife marks on both sides of the fish body to enhance the flavor.

2. Slice ginger and chop green onions into segments. Also, slice ginger and green onions into strips and cut bird's eye chilies into small pieces for preparation.

3. Place an empty plate, and arrange ginger slices and green onion segments on it. Place the bass fish on top.

4. Bring water to a boil in a pot, and put the bass fish in, steam for 7 minutes over high heat. Turn off the heat when the fish eyes come out (generally, the fish is cooked when the eyes come out).

5. Drain the water and chopped green onions from the steamed fish, and replace it with a new plate to eliminate the fishy smell (if you're short on time, you can skip this step).

6. Spread ginger slices, green onion slices, and bird's eye chilies over the steamed fish, and drizzle with steamed fish soy sauce.

7. Heat up a spoonful of oil and pour it over the fish, the hot oil will make the fragrant aroma of green onions and ginger, and the steamed bass is complete (Note: The oil temperature must be hot enough for a better taste!)
