This Youtiao Doufu (Fried Tofu) is So Delicious – A Full Pot Isn't Enough, Kids Fight Over It!
It's definitely one of the biggest headaches for parents, especially with families having twins. One child loves a certain dish, while the other refuses to eat it, making mealtime a chaotic thought process: 'What should I make?'

We're the same! Our son loves a specific food, but our daughter won't even touch it. Once, I was completely stumped about what to cook, so I bought a pound of tofu and made a simple dish, and surprisingly, both kids devoured it. Seeing them enjoy it so much made me so happy!

Step 1: Buy a half-fat, half-lean pork belly. Remove the skin and cut it into small pieces, then chop the filling.

Step 2: Chop the pre-soaked dried mushrooms and also chop some green onions, place them in a bowl.

Step 3: Prepare an appropriate amount of glutinous rice, soak it for two to three hours, then drain the moisture.
Step 4: Heat up a pan, pour in the meat filling and stir-fry until the meat paste turns white, then add the mushrooms and green onions to sauté.

Step 5: After releasing fragrance, add an appropriate amount of salt, plus an appropriate amount of black pepper, then pour in the glutinous rice and stir-fry constantly until the glutinous rice becomes translucent. Turn off the heat and set aside.

Step 6: Cut the tofu diagonally into two pieces, cutting through both corners like making a fork.

Step 7: After cutting, you can start stuffing. Push the cooked glutinous rice and meat filling into the tofu, you can fill it to the brim, after it's completely full, put it in a flat plate, try not to overlap it.

Step 8: After stuffing the tofu, add a few soaked and washed goji berries on each surface.
Step 9: Bring a pot of water to a boil, put the stuffed tofu in, cover the pot and steam for half an hour.

Step 10: While the tofu is steaming, we can prepare a sauce: pour water into a bowl, add cornstarch, pour in a little light soy sauce, stir well.

Step 11: After the tofu is steamed, take it out, then heat up a little oil in the pot, pour in the water starch and stir-fry until it boils.

Step 12: Pour the boiling sauce on the tofu.

Adjust the seasoning, don't put too much heavy soy sauce, the flavor is a little light, you don't need to cook rice separately, eating it like this is also very good. The kids like it because it feels like eating snacks.
