Yu Xiang Rou Si, combined with appropriate side dishes, is particularly nutritious. Here's how I made it, a delicious and authentic recipe.


Prepare a carrot, half a stalk of (lettuce), a green chili pepper, minced pork, garlic, green onions, and ginger.


Cut the carrot, lettuce, and green pepper into strands.

Prepare the seasonings: mince garlic, mince ginger, and chop green onions into segments. Use (jiū jīn - rice wine), salt, sugar, vinegar, cornstarch, and pepper.

Cut the pork into strands, add (jiū jīn - rice wine), salt, chicken powder (chicken seasoning), pepper, fragrant oil (sesame oil), and cornstarch for tenderizing.


Prepare the seasoning sauce: two tablespoons of (shān chōu - light soy sauce), one tablespoon of vinegar, one tablespoon of sugar, cornstarch, and chicken powder, mixed well.


1Blanch the carrot, lettuce, and green pepper strands in boiling water for half a minute.

2Heat oil in a wok, and stir-fry the pork strands until they turn white, then remove.


3Heat the wok, add minced green onions, minced garlic, and minced ginger to infuse the aroma. Then add the pork strands, followed by the carrot, lettuce, and green pepper strands.


Add the seasoning sauce and cook until it's fully absorbed, approximately 1 minute is sufficient.


Sour and sweet, paired with a bowl of rice, it's especially satisfying. This dish is loved by my child and is also nutritious.
