1Ma Tapu Lake White Lotus
White lotus is the top specialty of Ma Tapu Lake. The whole lake has nearly 4000 acres of lotus fields, and white lotus is planted in spring and summer, and harvested in June and July, which locals call ‘new lotus’ at this time. It is pure white like jade, tender and sweet and crisp.

2 (Du Tanh - Broken Eel)
A large, live yellow eel is placed on the ground and allowed to struggle, its surface mucus is removed, then a cast iron cone is used to pierce the head and insert it into the ground to fix the fish. A small knife is used to open the belly of the fish and remove the internal organs, and finally the fish is washed and cut into segments. After frying the fish segments, they are simmered in soup with broad leaves (pú cài). This dish is both fragrant and delicious.

Gold wire duck eggs have long been famous. Geese and ducks usually eat clams from the lake, and the eggs produced are of good quality with unique color, aroma and taste. After pickling and steaming, the egg white and yolk are separated by a yellow oily ring, resembling golden threads entangled, and the taste is delicious, the oil is not greasy, the meat is not choking, and the gold wire duck eggs are named accordingly.

6 (Jing Jia Si Se Jiuhuang - Jing Jia Four-Colored Chives)
Jing Jia Four-Colored Chives has a cultivation history of more than 150 years and was a tribute to the imperial court during the Qing Dynasty. The tips of the leaves are purple, the lower parts are divided into green, yellow, and white, with vibrant colors, which is very beautiful and nutritious, and is known as ‘eternal grass’, with characteristics such as few fibers, strong aroma, and delicious taste. It is fragrant and refreshing when eaten raw, and delicious and refreshing when cooked.
